L'étoile 1903

What: French

When: Lunch/Dinner. Monday-Sunday: 7-2

Where: 4 avenue de Wagram, 75008 Paris, France

Why: I can't even tell you, as a French food lover, how excited I was to show my German boyfriend what we're all about. L'étoile 1903 was our first stop, coming directly from the airport, as it was the first spot we saw across the street from our hotel. What we enjoyed was a typical French bistro/brasserie lunch of Boeuf tartare, entrecôte with béarnaise and of course wine. What I loved about this place was that it was fancy, upscale but not pretentious or extremely touristy, like much of Paris, especially around the Arc de Triomphe/ Champs-Élysées area. Don't get me wrong, it was still pricey even a little too much son for what it was, but hey, that's just Paris. It's all part of the experience...

How: €12-30
